The Business Development Manager advises litigation practice leaders, develops growth strategies and annual plans, and leads pitches, proposals, and RFP responses. The role manages legal directory submissions, awards, sponsorships, conferences, client events, market research, competitive analysis, and business development resources. It requires strong relationship-building, communication, project management, analytical, and organizational skills, along with experience supporting professional services or legal practice groups.

Coordinates alumni engagement, database maintenance, communications, events, and attorney offboarding. Provides administrative and logistical support for performance review and advancement cycles, including scheduling, document management, progress tracking, record updates, and software troubleshooting. Collaborates across teams, handles confidential personnel information, and supports long-term alumni relationship building.

Designs and delivers technology training for attorneys and staff across firm applications, Microsoft Copilot, collaboration platforms, and legal software. Creates instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning content; administers the LMS; develops technical documentation; supports software rollouts, testing, surveys, and training coordination; and partners with departments to assess needs and build learning programs. Travel to other offices may be required.
