Lead the architecture and technical evolution of Alluxio’s large-scale distributed data platform. Design scalable, fault-tolerant, high-performance systems, provide hands-on development and technical guidance, resolve performance and reliability issues, lead design reviews, mentor engineers, collaborate with product and engineering leadership, and contribute to open-source distributed systems.

Develop and scale Alluxio’s distributed data services for thousands of nodes, focusing on durability, high availability, memory efficiency, concurrency, locking, and caching. The engineer will contribute to architecture, implement technical direction, solve complex distributed-systems problems, and lead solutions from concept through completion while collaborating with product management.
