Own customer manufacturing orders from purchase order through shipment. Develop schedules, coordinate materials and outside processing, monitor production progress, identify risks, and manage recovery plans. Communicate with customers and cross-functional teams, lead project reviews, track costs and changes, and maintain project documentation. The role requires strong organization, customer communication, ERP/MRP experience, and familiarity with manufacturing or CNC machining environments.

Creates production drawings and 3D CAD models, improves metal product designs, supports quoting, and provides engineering oversight during fabrication. Owns customer projects from contract review through shipment, managing schedules, risks, documentation, communication, and cross-functional coordination. Works with customers, suppliers, production, quality, purchasing, and sales to resolve technical issues, maintain project progress, and address delivery impacts. Occasional travel to customer or supplier sites is required.

Designs and develops industrial furnaces, ovens, heaters, kilns, and thermal systems from concept through production. Creates CAD models, drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing documentation; applies mechanical design and design-for-manufacturability principles; supports prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, validation, and continuous improvement. Collaborates with production, purchasing, sales, and leadership to develop cost-effective, safe, reliable, and customer-focused engineered products.
