Supports global strategic marketing activities for Allison Transmission, including analyzing worldwide product distribution and market share, maintaining product-release databases, evaluating market size and trends, and assisting with customer events and trade shows. The intern will gain practical experience in marketing within a global manufacturing company while collaborating with internal teams and applying analytical, communication, and customer value creation skills.

Supports the development, testing, and improvement of cost-effective manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment. The intern focuses on continuous improvement, production quality, throughput capability, and adherence to product specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities include researching manufacturing methods, assisting with process and equipment design, analyzing product requirements, and collaborating with others under supervision.

Leads manufacturing process design, continuous improvement, equipment qualification, process documentation, capital projects, production launches, and technical support for plant operations. Analyzes efficiency, quality, throughput, and process flow while developing manufacturing methods and cost estimates. Collaborates cross-functionally and with senior management, mentors others, and applies expertise in machining, assembly, machine tools, lean manufacturing, and specialized programming.
