Provides interim leadership and oversight for county social services programs, including Child Protective Services and Adult and Aging Services. Responsibilities include case consultation, two-level decision-making, quality assurance, compliance guidance, workload and backlog management, staff coaching, program planning, performance management, and service continuity. The role collaborates with county leadership and consultants, supports staffing transitions, adapts to changing county needs, and may participate in after-hours, weekend, or on-call support.
