Fit models to large-scale connectivity and neural activity data, derive simplified descriptions of collective dynamics, evaluate how perturbations constrain models, and identify informative experiments. Collaborate with experimental neuroscientists, communicate findings through publications and presentations, and contribute to foundational research on mammalian neural computation.

Leads the Molecular Tool Development automation group, setting strategy and managing staff, vendors, budgets, and resources. Translates complex molecular laboratory workflows into scalable, validated liquid-handling automation solutions. Oversees requirements, scripting, platform integration, validation, deployment, support, and technical standards. Partners with scientists and engineers across proteomics, cell assays, and NGS programs, while developing training, mentoring staff, and advancing high-throughput, reproducible research capabilities.

Develop machine learning and deep learning pipelines for 3D timelapse microscopy image analysis. Responsibilities include preprocessing large datasets, building and optimizing segmentation, classification, and feature-extraction models, scaling image-analysis workflows on HPC infrastructure, maintaining reproducible code and records, participating in reviews, and collaborating with experimental scientists in a multidisciplinary research environment.
