Ai2 Benefits Overview

Conduct AI research focused on agentic systems, scientific discovery, literature understanding, human-AI collaboration, continual learning, and model specialization. Interns will collaborate with Ai2 researchers, build systems or models, and author papers for leading AI, NLP, HCI, ML, and information retrieval conferences. The 12-week internship is based in Seattle and requires PhD enrollment, relevant research experience, AI publications, and strong software engineering skills.

Conduct AI and robotics research under mentorship, including building AI systems, developing datasets and benchmarks, reading scientific literature, and running experiments with real-world robots. Interns may work on foundation models, robot skills, simulation, robot control, reinforcement learning, world models, and agentic robotics systems. The role is a 12-week, full-time internship based in Seattle and intended primarily for PhD students.

Develop an open-source AI-powered, physics-informed climate model for improved multidecadal forecasting. Adapt NeuralGCM training pipelines for Google Cloud and NVIDIA GPUs, document and distribute code, couple the model with an ML ocean model, test performance in unseen climates, collaborate through software engineering practices, and create tutorials for the climate modeling community.
