Supervises a 15–20-person manufacturing shift producing ceramic fiber products. Responsibilities include coordinating production schedules, materials, manpower, and equipment; monitoring productivity, quality, safety, and KPIs; conducting inventory audits; coaching employees; addressing performance issues; reporting usage and process problems; and recommending process or equipment improvements. The role also supports Lean Manufacturing, root-cause problem solving, employee training, and compliance with health, environmental, and safety standards.

Coordinates continuous improvement across manufacturing operations by identifying process opportunities, supporting Lean daily management, tracking performance and savings, facilitating Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives, standardizing optimized processes, training employees, and supporting change management. Collaborates with operations, finance, and internal teams to deliver measurable productivity, cost, quality, and safety improvements.

Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and installs mechanical systems and production equipment in a paper manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include servicing air, oil, steam, stock, boiler, control, and power transmission systems; interpreting schematics; fabricating, welding, brazing, and cutting metals; operating lift trucks; rigging and moving equipment; and training assisting personnel while following safety and production procedures.
