UX Design Intern supporting the Platform Experiences team in creating intuitive, scalable digital solutions across Align Technology’s orthodontic and dental ecosystems. Responsibilities include applying user-centered design principles, contributing to visual and UX design, collaborating with product managers and engineers, learning design systems, accessibility, and research methods, and presenting design decisions. The role is onsite in Costa Rica and suited to students eager to develop professionally in healthcare technology.

Sells Invisalign and iTero solutions to orthodontists and general dentists across an assigned territory. Develops territory and account plans, grows revenue and case volume, onboards high-potential accounts, consults on digital workflow modernization, and educates customers on product capabilities. Uses business and customer insights to tailor solutions, coordinates internal resources, achieves sales targets, and manages customer relationships in both in-person and virtual settings.

Provides remote and on-site technical support for proprietary applications and hardware. Troubleshoots Windows, browsers, networking, and related issues; manages Salesforce or other ticketing systems; resolves customer contacts within service-level agreements; documents interactions; approves spare-part troubleshooting; identifies issue trends; supports process improvements, projects, and training; and collaborates with customers and global teams in English and Chinese.
