Supports technical business development for public-sector quantum technology programs in the United States. Responsibilities include researching the quantum computing market, identifying funding and partnership opportunities, preparing stakeholder briefings, editing white papers and proposals, coordinating technical contributors, tracking deadlines and deliverables, and assisting with government program communications. The role is designed for a graduate student with quantitative training, strong writing and research abilities, and an interest in science, technology, and policy.

Design and test tools and procedures for pre-aligning diced quantum chips before visual inspection and probing. The intern will automate alignment workflows, procure hardware, validate testing and data repository processes, document specifications and SOPs, and present findings to the nanofabrication team.

Improve automatic optical inspection software for quantum chip wafer production. Responsibilities include optimizing defect detection pipelines, reducing inspection time and false results, testing on production wafers, adapting software for 4-inch fabrication, collaborating with process engineers, and documenting and presenting results. The role is a 5–6 month internship beginning in January 2027.
