Services HVAC building automation systems through preventive maintenance, installation, commissioning, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, programming, and device verification. Interfaces directly with customers, provides system training, documents project work and field changes, coordinates with managers and subcontractors, supports sales recommendations, and updates controller and server software. Requires electronics or HVAC-related education, one to two years of controls and HVAC service experience, strong computer skills, and a clean driving record.

Performs installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and programming of HVAC building automation and controls systems. Verifies devices, diagnoses mechanical, electrical, networking, and controls issues, updates controllers and servers, documents project work, trains customers, coordinates job-site activities, and recommends system upgrades. The role requires direct on-site customer interaction and may support sales proposals and retrofit work.

Supports sales growth for building automation and controls projects by developing customer relationships, identifying opportunities, assisting with technical proposals and estimates, participating in meetings and presentations, coordinating with project teams, managing CRM pipelines, and supporting service, retrofit, maintenance, and installation sales. Requires a technical engineering foundation and knowledge of BAS, HVAC, controls, and related drawings.
