Designs and plans manufacturing processes, equipment layouts, tooling, and production sequences for advanced composite components. Incorporates inspection and testing requirements, resolves complex technical problems, supports programs and projects, and performs root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and nonconformance dispositions. The role operates independently in production and assembly environments and may support composite machining, automated fiber placement, new product development, and multidisciplinary teams.

Operates specialized equipment and performs production tasks including loom operation, knot-tying, drawing-in, yarn handling, sizing, raveling, joining, and setup. Follows work instructions, maintains product quality, performs minor maintenance, supports process improvements, and participates in department groups. Requires manual skills, basic computer skills, safety awareness, quality orientation, and preferably one year of manufacturing experience.

Directs aerospace composite programs from inception through completion, managing safety, quality, schedule, technical performance, costs, P&L, contracts, proposals, and customer relationships. Leads program reviews, establishes statements of work and milestones, coordinates subcontractors and cross-functional teams, manages financial risk and change proposals, supports business development, and identifies growth and cost-reduction opportunities. Requires aerospace, government contracting, composite fabrication, budgeting, proposal writing, and PMP experience.
