Develop and execute social media strategies and content across client platforms, including scheduling, social listening, paid optimization, community engagement, rapid-response communications, and performance reporting. Collaborate with federal clients and creative teams, present digital strategies to senior leadership, and ensure compliance with accessibility, records management, security, and platform policies. The role also captures and edits photo and video content and supports integrated digital storytelling.

Leads day-to-day execution of complex Department of Energy engagements, managing concurrent workstreams, schedules, team workloads, client relationships, contract compliance, risks, and deliverable quality. Drafts and reviews strategic communications including speeches, messaging, announcements, and briefing materials. Translates complex technical and policy information for diverse audiences, advises clients on sensitive issues, and improves project processes, tools, and workflows.

Build and configure CMS websites, including templates, components, responsive layouts, content migrations, navigation, metadata, SEO, forms, integrations, and analytics tools. Test sites across browsers and devices, resolve bugs, train internal teams, and document ongoing maintenance. The role supports federal client projects on an as-needed freelance basis and requires accessibility, security, and responsible AI awareness.
