Build and grow Akola’s wholesale account network across the Eastern United States. Responsibilities include managing retailer relationships, achieving sales goals, forecasting, analyzing inventory and distribution reports, planning assortments, attending markets and tradeshows, traveling to accounts, resolving order and customer issues, and providing product performance feedback.

Leads finance and operational strategy across Akola’s U.S. and Uganda offices. Responsibilities include international banking, budgeting, profit margin management, financial reporting, accounting systems, inventory oversight, production and materials forecasting, vendor relations, and supervision of bookkeeping. The role translates financial data into actionable reports and optimizes resources to support the organization’s social mission.

Draft content for Akola’s social and digital platforms, communicate its mission and vision, research social media and digital marketing best practices, report findings, and collaborate with teams on storytelling initiatives. This is an unpaid fall internship eligible for class credit, running from August 31 through December 11, 2015.
