Build and grow Akola’s wholesale account network across the Eastern United States. Responsibilities include managing retailer relationships, achieving sales goals, forecasting, analyzing inventory and distribution reports, planning assortments, attending markets and tradeshows, traveling to accounts, resolving order and customer issues, and providing product performance feedback.

Leads finance and operational strategy across Akola’s U.S. and Uganda offices. Responsibilities include international banking, budgeting, profit margin management, financial reporting, accounting systems, inventory oversight, production and materials forecasting, vendor relations, and supervision of bookkeeping. The role translates financial data into actionable reports and optimizes resources to support the organization’s social mission.

Supports the Empowerment Programs Manager in delivering holistic development programs for marginalized women in Dallas. Conducts monitoring, evaluation metrics, and surveys to track program outcomes, while providing interpersonal support to potential partner organizations. This unpaid internship runs from August 31 through December 11, 2015 and qualifies for class credit.
