As a Medical Coder, you will assign ICD and CPT codes to medical records, ensuring 99% accuracy following federal and client guidelines.

Coordinates health plan grievances, complaints, appeals support, and regulatory inquiries from intake through resolution. Investigates cases, reviews records, drafts compliant responses, tracks deadlines, maintains documentation, analyzes trends, supports corrective actions, and prepares reports for health plans and regulators. The role collaborates with clinical, operational, quality, compliance, and patient relations teams while ensuring confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and applicable CMS, state, and contractual requirements.

Leads California’s Safety Net service line, overseeing street medicine, Enhanced Care Management, Medication Assisted Treatment, and housing operations. Manages regional and central leaders, scales programs, owns an eight-figure P&L, drives quality and growth, develops workflows and performance systems, manages health-plan relationships and compliance, and remains engaged in direct patient care and field operations.
