Teams at Aiven

Drive new customer acquisition and close full sales cycle for North American customers (<$250M ARR), convert PLG/trial signals into revenue, generate pipeline via outbound and marketing, qualify opportunities using MEDDPICC, engage technical decision-makers, conduct demos, and meet defined quota metrics (10 new logos, $300K ARR).

Own technical strategy for Aiven’s OEM partnerships, leading pre-sales evaluations, proofs of concept, architecture design, integrations, partner enablement, and production growth. Design scalable cloud and data-platform architectures, guide API, SDK, Terraform, and infrastructure integrations, run training, resolve cross-team technical issues, and convert partner feedback into product improvements. Use AI tools and agents to accelerate analysis, documentation, deployments, and operational processes.

Own Aiven’s internal application engineering system, shared foundations, and central hiring and credential-gateway applications. Build and operate production software across application code, infrastructure, security, deployment, and reliability. Establish architectural standards, enable business teams and AI coding agents to build safely, and influence technical direction across the company. The role is based in Helsinki with hybrid office work.
