Designs, implements, administers, and supports complex enterprise, carrier-grade VoIP, Internet backbone, and IP service-provider networks. Responsibilities include network configuration, routing and switching, troubleshooting, performance optimization, IP auditing, security policy enforcement, equipment upgrades, documentation, and Level III support. The engineer collaborates with architects, resolves complex SIP and internetworking issues, mentors team members, and may provide off-hours support.

Responsibilities include configuring routers and switches, troubleshooting outages and SIP/IP issues, auditing IP addresses, maintaining performance, establishing network standards, collaborating on optimization, and enforcing network security policies. Provides Level III support, mentors team members, documents solutions, and serves as an escalation point for network issues.

The Network Engineer ensures service availability, provisions network services, and supports engineering teams while managing troubleshooting and configuration of network equipment.
