Designs, implements, administers, and supports complex enterprise, carrier-grade VoIP, Internet backbone, and IP service-provider networks. Responsibilities include network configuration, routing and switching, troubleshooting, performance optimization, IP auditing, security policy enforcement, equipment upgrades, documentation, and Level III support. The engineer collaborates with architects, resolves complex SIP and internetworking issues, mentors team members, and may provide off-hours support.

Designs, implements, administers, and supports complex enterprise, carrier-grade VoIP, Internet backbone, and IP service-provider networks. Responsibilities include configuring routers and switches, troubleshooting outages and SIP/IP issues, auditing IP addresses, maintaining performance, establishing network standards, collaborating on optimization, and enforcing network security policies. Provides Level III support, mentors team members, documents solutions, and serves as an escalation point for network issues.

The Network Engineer ensures service availability, provisions network services, and supports engineering teams while managing troubleshooting and configuration of network equipment.

Provide NOC Tier 3 support: manage monitoring systems, troubleshoot and isolate network faults, provision and configure core network devices, liaise with 3rd parties, perform hardware installs and audits, write monitoring plugins, maintain documentation, and participate in 24x7 call-out rotation as needed.

Join the NOC to ensure service availability, provision and configure core network services, troubleshoot and escalate complex network issues, manage monitoring systems, maintain documentation, and support engineering. Participate in vendor liaison, audits, custom monitoring plugin development, and potentially a 24x7 on-call rotation.
