Develop candidate pipelines, partner with leadership on hiring priorities, create job descriptions and employer branding, establish onboarding and offboarding processes, manage structured interviews, track recruiting metrics, and maintain accurate people documentation across locations.

Partner with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and business leaders on organization design, performance management, manager coaching, employee relations, onboarding, compensation, policies, compliance, workforce planning, engagement, retention, and culture. Build the HR business partner function and scalable people processes from scratch while maintaining accurate documentation and people data.

Leads Airbound’s complete people function, including talent acquisition, HR operations, workforce planning, compensation, compliance, culture, and employee relations. Manages the Talent Acquisition Manager and HR Business Partner, establishes people strategy and operating systems, owns the people budget and headcount plan, and advises founders and leadership on organizational scaling and sensitive people decisions. The role is hands-on when needed and based in-office at the company’s Hoskote, Bangalore headquarters.

Create, shoot, edit, and produce engaging video content for Airbound’s marketing channels. Own the visual identity, monitor digital trends, collaborate with internal and external creative partners, manage media archives, and maintain camera and lighting equipment. The role requires end-to-end filmmaking skills, Adobe Creative Suite expertise, AI tool proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple creative assignments.

Designs and deploys automated hardware test frameworks for aircraft validation across R&D, production, and pre-flight stages. Integrates sensors, actuators, motor controllers, deployment mechanisms, custom PCBAs, and instrumentation. Develops fault detection, data logging, remote monitoring, dashboards, and safety-critical test software while collaborating with flight, structures, and systems teams.

Own global hardware sourcing, supplier selection, cost strategy, negotiations, should-cost modeling, supplier diversification, and supply-risk management. Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize designs and processes for cost and manufacturability. Manage export controls, import compliance, supplier performance, spend visibility, cost roadmaps, and executive communication while scaling production from tens to thousands of units.

Design, build, and commission physical test equipment for aircraft systems, including functional, performance, vibration, lifecycle, and extreme-weather testers. Take equipment from requirements through CAD design, prototyping, sourcing, fabrication, assembly, and commissioning. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams, ensure system and human safety, support outdoor operation, and troubleshoot live test setups under time pressure.

Lead government and regulatory engagement to secure permissions and approvals for commercial drone delivery operations. Responsibilities include advocating for BVLOS operations and zoning rules, shaping policy narratives, collaborating with regulators and government stakeholders, liaising with local authorities, and advancing strategic policy goals. The role requires extensive experience influencing policy at central and state government levels, working with politicians, bureaucrats, think tanks, associations, and cross-functional business teams.

Build and maintain full-stack web platforms for UAV operations, including ground control, fleet management, data analysis, and simulation interfaces. Develop React front ends and NestJS back ends handling real-time telemetry, command-and-control logic, and high-frequency data streams. Own the full software lifecycle, apply TDD and engineering best practices, create technical documentation, and collaborate cross-functionally in a mission-critical environment.

Lead Airbound's content, communications, and employer brand. Write press materials, case studies, blogs, social and website copy; support PR strategy; manage agencies and vendors; run events and activations; translate technical engineering work into clear narratives; own LinkedIn and owned channels; execute logistics so senior leaders focus on relationships.

Own visual execution and storytelling across product launches, campaigns, social, events, and employer brand. Produce print, digital, motion, and presentation assets, collaborate with engineers and vendors, and steward the Airbound brand.
