Teams at Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA)

Develops bilingual English-French communications strategies and translates complex aviation, labor, safety, and legal information for diverse audiences. Provides strategic counsel and tactical support across media relations, social media, digital advertising, video, email, web, stakeholder relations, and advocacy campaigns. Creates and edits multimedia content, coordinates projects, and supports pilot-group communications objectives across Canada and the United States.

Provides contractual and legal research support for pilot labor disputes, including gathering evidence, analyzing Pilot Working Agreement issues, assisting with informal resolutions and appeals, preparing System Board of Adjustment cases and briefs, and supporting FAA enforcement cases. The role requires strong organization, note-taking, communication, independent judgment, deadline management, and frequent national travel.

Provides technical expertise and support on employee retirement, health, welfare, insurance, and benefits programs. Interprets ERISA, ACA, FMLA, HIPAA, and tax requirements; drafts benefits communications and newsletters; supports negotiations and training; advises labor relations staff and pilot representatives; and monitors benefits legislation and trends.
