Develop and maintain Java applications, web services, and APIs for public and internal users. Build new systems, replace legacy applications, implement authentication, manage PostgreSQL databases, and support AWS CI/CD pipelines. Apply security, encryption, accessibility, testing, and database design practices while translating user requirements into application features. Work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with developers, engineers, and subject matter experts.

Develop and enhance Java applications, web services, APIs, and legacy replacements for public-sector users. Build JSF and PrimeFaces applications backed by PostgreSQL, implement OAuth2 or OpenAM authentication, and support AWS CI/CD pipelines. Apply security, encryption, accessibility, testing, and database design practices. Analyze requirements, define application functionality, collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts, and evaluate technologies for architectural improvements. The role is remote with optional onsite work.
