The Controller supervises the finance department, managing accounting activities, audits, budgeting, financial reporting, and oversees Accounting Managers and staff.

Manage day-to-day operations of the MI Choice Medicaid Waiver program team, supervising staff to ensure compliance with MDHHS contract and agency policies. Oversee authorizations, service guides, spending reviews, quality improvement, audits, hiring, reporting, stakeholder relations, and team performance coaching.

Performs person-centered comprehensive assessments to determine eligibility for the MI Choice Waiver Program, develops and monitors individualized long-term care plans, coordinates services and community resources, conducts monitoring contacts, maintains records in the electronic medical record, and participates in team meetings and quality activities. Requires Michigan professional social work license and regional travel.
