The Controller supervises the finance department, managing accounting activities, audits, budgeting, financial reporting, and oversees Accounting Managers and staff.

Lead and supervise the finance department, manage day-to-day accounting (AP/AR, GL, cash management), oversee audits, budgeting, financial reporting, grant and claims operations, and system upgrades. Ensure compliance with federal/state funding rules, present financial analyses to leadership, and manage accounting staff and policies.

Performs person-centered in-person assessments to determine MI Choice Waiver eligibility; evaluates medical, functional, psychological, financial, and environmental needs; develops and monitors person-centered long-term care plans; coordinates services and community resources; maintains accurate records/EMR entries; participates in quality audits, meetings, and case transfers; travels across assigned counties.
