Supports nursing leadership and resident care in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities include assisting with staffing, managing and evaluating nursing staff, contributing to MDS and care planning, maintaining resident documentation, coordinating individualized care plans, ensuring resources are available, and implementing infection control measures. The role also requires regulatory compliance, clinical judgment, staff development, and collaboration with physicians, consultants, and nursing teams.

Provide clinical leadership on shift: supervise nurse aides, administer medications and treatments, implement care plans, transcribe physician orders, document assessments, participate in shift reports, educate staff, maintain infection control and safety, and coordinate staffing to ensure resident well-being.
