Translate Restructured Energy Market (REM) design into technical implementation details, specify market mechanisms and settlement processes, coordinate across engineering, operations, IT, legal, finance and communications, engage external stakeholders, and produce clear decision documents, memos, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.

Lead and perform customer access and interconnection engineering studies for assigned clusters; provide technical leadership, peer review, and decision support; run power flow, stability, and short-circuit studies (PSS/E); coordinate cross-functionally and with external stakeholders; develop engineering solutions, standards, and connection proposals; mentor staff and represent AESO in regulatory and industry forums.

Lead and improve Alberta Risk-Based Compliance Monitoring Program activities, develop monitoring tools and RSAWs, plan and execute audits and monitoring, prepare audit reports, deliver training, and engage stakeholders to ensure compliance with ARS/NERC standards and defensible regulatory outcomes.
