The role requires strong organization, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, record keeping, and adaptability, along with familiarity with project management concepts, tools, and Microsoft Office.

Leads enterprise application development standards, modernization, secure software practices, DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and emerging AI-enabled development. Establishes engineering guardrails, reusable patterns, governance frameworks, and technology roadmaps while coaching teams and improving application reliability, scalability, maintainability, and delivery effectiveness. Guides responsible adoption of cloud-native, generative AI, agentic development, low-code, and citizen-developed solutions in partnership with architecture, cybersecurity, data, privacy, and delivery teams.
