Teams at AeroTEC - Aerospace Testing Engineering & Certification Inc.

Leads structural stress, fatigue, and damage-tolerance analysis for aircraft and space vehicles. Performs hand calculations and FEA on metallic and composite structures, supports certification, Mods, STCs, testing, manufacturing, and direct FAA coordination. Develops engineering tools, tracks project deliverables, presents substantiation data, resolves compliance findings, and mentors engineers. The role also supports scheduling, scope tracking, and cross-functional project execution, with travel to domestic and international worksites.

Coordinates aerospace test and certification requirements, authors and executes flight and ground test plans, develops test automation scripts, and prepares technical reports. The role supports testing across aircraft and novel propulsion platforms, including electric and hydrogen systems, while requiring experience with aerospace systems, flight software, simulations, schematics, and hardware. This remote position requires extensive domestic and international travel, an FAA Third Class Medical Certificate, a clean driving record, and U.S. Person export-control eligibility.

Develops manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, operation sequences, and build plans for aerospace parts, assemblies, aircraft modifications, and flight-test systems. Collaborates with design engineers, purchasing, machine operators, and quality teams; supports CNC programming, machining, assembly, wiring, avionics modifications, troubleshooting, configuration control, and shop-floor integration. Requires aerospace manufacturing experience, multi-axis machining expertise, and knowledge of composites, welding, sheet metal, and flight structures.
