Paid, year-round Industrial Engineering Internship supporting visual management, team coordination, quality tracking, workflow coordination, and continuous improvement in a custom manufacturing and automation environment. The intern will maintain visual boards, track work orders and inspection activities, follow up on delays, assist with quality records, and coordinate across engineering, operations, production, and quality teams. The role is primarily on-site and designed for engineering students with at least two academic years remaining.

Sources and purchases precision-machined parts, fabricated components, hardware, assemblies, and equipment. Evaluates machine shops and suppliers, reviews technical drawings and manufacturing requirements, negotiates quotes, issues purchase orders, manages delivery commitments, expedites at-risk orders, and resolves supplier quality, technical, pricing, and delivery issues. Partners with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project teams while maintaining supplier data in ERP systems.
