Leads automation engineering across production, packaging, and environmental control operations. Manages engineers and technicians, PLC and SCADA systems, robotics, industrial networking, troubleshooting, system reliability, continuous improvement, capital equipment integration, commissioning, safety, and compliance. Develops Ignition SCADA infrastructure, mentors teams, coordinates vendors and integrators, and improves equipment uptime and operational efficiency.

Drive automation performance and continuous improvement across automated manufacturing and packaging operations. Responsibilities include optimizing PLC-controlled systems, robotics, conveyors, packaging lines, and motion systems; analyzing production data; improving throughput, reliability, quality, and material flow; designing mechanical components; troubleshooting equipment; supporting commissioning and capital projects; and collaborating with operations, maintenance, vendors, and engineering teams.

Improve, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize robotic and PLC-controlled automation equipment in an indoor farming and packaging facility. Responsibilities include modifying PLC programs, troubleshooting ladder logic, maintaining motion-control and robotic systems, servicing VFDs, sensors, motors, valves, pumps, and automated packaging lines, and ensuring compliance with food manufacturing standards. The role requires working a rotating 12-hour production schedule and supporting operational safety, quality, and efficiency.
