Register patients for services, verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-authorizations, create estimates and collect payments or set up payment plans. Perform Medicare compliance reviews and issue ABNs, provide coverage for assigned areas and PBX, communicate with clinical and ancillary teams, document conversations, and perform cashiering and reconciliation.

Supervise telemetry unit operations, monitor and document telemetry strips, maintain patient logs, communicate changes to RNs, conduct staff coaching and corrective actions, perform timekeeper duties, ensure EKG competency and BLS certification, and follow hospital policies.

Provide emergency nursing care including assessments, medication administration, evidence-based care planning, patient/family education, documentation, care coordination, safety compliance, and advocacy in an acute hospital Emergency Department.
