Performs specimen receipt, processing, transport, centrifugation, aliquoting, basic lab support, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, equipment cleaning, inventory, and customer service while following safety and infection control procedures.

Manage hospital risk and regulatory complaint surveys, analyze aggregated event data for trends, facilitate root cause analyses and corrective actions, integrate risk management with quality and safety, develop and deliver risk education, assess clinical/operational risk, and serve as a resource to administration, staff, and physicians.
