Supervise public accounting engagements for closely and privately held businesses, including audits, reviews, compilations, financial statement preparation, and related client projects. Manage assignments, interact with CFOs and owners, and coach and mentor accounting team members while ensuring client, firm, and professional development goals are met.

Provide tax planning and advisory services for closely held businesses, technically review tax returns, research complex tax issues, resolve client tax matters, and manage tax-related projects and deadlines while collaborating with partners, clients, and senior accountants.

Manage accounting assignments for privately held businesses, including compilations, reviews, financial statements, and related projects. The role requires public accounting and tax knowledge, proficiency with CCH software, and strong communication skills. Candidates may mentor and lead teams, with opportunities for advancement into management. A CPA or EA credential, or progress toward one, is preferred. This is a hybrid position in the Concord, Pleasant Hill, or Walnut Creek, California area.
