The Director of Nursing leads nursing and medical assistant operations across health center locations, ensuring safe, compliant, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include clinical workflow standardization, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, HEDIS reporting, audit preparation, staffing, recruitment, training, performance management, and strategic collaboration. The role may also perform RN duties such as patient assessment, vaccinations, diagnostic testing, care coordination, prior authorizations, and inventory oversight.

Leads all human resources functions for a federally qualified health center, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training, employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, HRIS administration, and engagement. Develops HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with organizational goals; oversees vendors and contracted HR services; ensures compliance with employment and healthcare regulations; manages workforce reporting and analytics; supports leadership development, retention, and employee wellness; and serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team.
