Welcomes and assists patients, schedules appointments, verifies demographic and insurance information, collects payments, manages patient flow, protects HIPAA information, answers calls, maintains front desk supplies and records, and supports daily medical office operations.

Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, obtain pre-certifications/authorizations/referrals, determine medical necessity per payer policies, communicate with payers, patients, and clinical teams, document in the EMR, and help reduce claim denials through timely, accurate authorizations.

Supervises operating room personnel, schedules, sterile processing, equipment, supplies, and daily departmental functions. Ensures adherence to procedures, supports quality control and performance improvement initiatives, and coordinates procurement and equipment maintenance. The role requires strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with operating room expertise, progressive leadership experience, an active Texas RN license, and ACLS/BLS certification.
