Advanced Navigation Benefits Overview

Lead development and characterization of inertial sensor technologies for navigation systems. Responsibilities include designing sensor tests, developing calibration techniques, analyzing performance data, selecting third-party sensors, and integrating sensors across product lines. The role requires multidisciplinary expertise spanning physics, electronics, software, MEMS or related sensor technologies, and inertial navigation systems.

Designs and deploys electronic and mechanical test systems for production and incoming inspection. Responsibilities include developing bed-of-nails PCBA testers, automated pass/fail analysis, test reporting, mechanical jigs and fixtures, software interfaces, ERP data integration, and automated test-data logging. The role collaborates with electronic, embedded software, and mechanical design teams to ensure product testability, supports lifecycle management, and drives continuous improvement across manufacturing systems.

Own system and product ecosystem architecture across hardware and software, from system-wide design through component level. Collaborate with product management, software, product engineering, and supply chain teams to create reusable, scalable designs aligned with product requirements, supply resilience, cost constraints, external interfaces, and development frameworks including NIST and AUSDEFCON. Drive architectural consistency, rapid iteration, continuous improvement, and effective communication across multidisciplinary teams.
