Develops and optimizes manufacturing processes for new product introduction and ongoing production. Supports manufacturability, prototype and pilot builds, production troubleshooting, process documentation, quality investigations, continuous improvement, equipment programming, and operator training. The role bridges product design and production operations across electrical, mechanical, and mechatronic systems while supporting cost, quality, reliability, and compliance objectives.

Provides senior technical leadership for complex mechanical and electromechanical product designs from concept through production. Establishes design standards and technical roadmaps, resolves difficult design and manufacturing issues, leads reliability testing, supports costing and customer definition, and collaborates with manufacturing, customers, vendors, and project managers. Mentors engineers and oversees multiple concurrent programs involving molded plastics, elastomers, machined and formed metals, electronic packaging, and advanced CAD/CAE analysis.

Leads manufacturing engineering, bench technician, and electro-mechanical assembly teams supporting NPI, sustaining production, process validation, test systems, tooling, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Oversees documentation, DFM/DFA, production readiness, quality investigations, Lean initiatives, capital equipment, technical training, and cross-functional coordination. Ensures safe, efficient, high-quality manufacturing through data-driven problem solving, process optimization, equipment support, and collaboration with Design Engineering, Quality, Operations, Program Management, and Supply Chain.

Leads customer manufacturing programs from new product introduction through stable production. Owns scope, schedules, budgets, risks, financial tracking, phase-gate reviews, engineering changes, customer approvals, and cross-functional coordination across engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, planning, and sales. Serves as the primary customer contact, manages delivery and technical issues, and supports continuous improvement across domestic and international manufacturing sites.

Leads global sales strategy and execution for HMI solutions across industrial, medical, aerospace and advanced technology markets. Owns revenue, bookings, margin, pipeline and forecasting targets; expands OEM and Tier 1 customer relationships; develops global sales teams; leads complex negotiations and strategic partnerships; and aligns Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Operations to support growth. The role requires extensive domestic and international travel.
