Lead regional policy advocacy strategies advancing clean energy and electrified transportation across Central U.S. states. Manage a geographically dispersed advocacy team, engage members and policymakers, coordinate legislative and regulatory campaigns, build stakeholder and coalition relationships, represent the organization to funders and prospects, and support revenue generation. The role requires frequent travel, strong political and public policy expertise, team leadership, member engagement, budgeting, and at least ten years of professional experience, including clean energy or transportation work.

Leads legislative, administrative, and regulatory advocacy across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Builds relationships with policymakers, member companies, lobbyists, coalitions, and media; develops policy positions and strategies; coordinates advocacy campaigns; creates presentations and written materials; and represents the organization in public engagement. Focus areas include clean energy, transmission, grid modernization, electric vehicles, building electrification, and distributed energy resources.

Lead advocacy and policy strategy for Western wholesale electricity market development, including ROWE, CAISO, transmission planning, resource adequacy, and regional coordination. Analyze regulatory and market-design proposals, prepare comments, testimony, briefs, and technical analyses, and represent the organization before utilities, regulators, policymakers, and stakeholders. Organize DER stakeholder participation, build coalitions, support communications and media activities, mentor junior staff, and contribute to strategic planning. Travel up to 25% regionally.
