Perform petrographic examinations of concrete, aggregates, rocks and minerals using stereomicroscopy, polarized/reflected light and fluorescence microscopy. Evaluate degradation (alkali-silica reactivity, sulfate attack), perform air-void and point-count analyses, and run secondary tests (XRD, XRF, potentiometric titrations). Prepare specimens, document results, write reports, and follow ASTM and OSHA guidelines.
