Teams at Adolescent Wellness Academy

Graduate students gain supervised clinical experience with adolescents ages 13–17 in PHP and IOP settings. Responsibilities include individual, family, and group therapy exposure; treatment team collaboration; care planning; crisis intervention; safety protocols; admissions; assessments; documentation; and use of DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing. This is an unpaid practicum and internship requiring enrollment in a relevant graduate behavioral health program.

Lead daily operations for an adolescent mental health PHP and IOP program. Supervise Wellness Coordinators, manage schedules, attendance, census, intake coordination, documentation, incident reporting, safety protocols, and administrative needs. Partner with therapists, families, and leadership to maintain a safe, structured, supportive client experience. Respond calmly to behavioral and operational challenges while ensuring staff accountability, compliance, and consistent program flow.
