Design, prototype, test, and improve lightweight mechanical systems for airborne renewable energy technologies. Work through full engineering cycle from calculations and CAD to prototyping, assembly, testing, and industrialization. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and manufacturers, and contribute to integration, validation, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

Lead European and international research consortia, grants, and public-private partnerships for a TechBio company. Identify funding opportunities, build and negotiate multidisciplinary consortia, write and defend grant proposals, and manage funded projects, budgets, deliverables, and agency reporting. Serve as the link between AI and biology teams, external collaborators, and funding bodies while representing the company’s Virtual Tissue platform at global innovation and scientific events.

Lead a small PMO team to professionalise project governance and coordination across research projects. Manage portfolio monitoring, reporting, funding intelligence, stakeholder liaison, decision support, process and tool improvements, and deliver dashboards and recommendations to senior management.
