The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, including tool use, planning, memory, retrieval, code execution, computer use, and multi-step workflows, with ownership of technical problems from concept through implementation and evaluation.

Lead a small PMO team to professionalise project governance and coordination across research projects. Manage portfolio monitoring, reporting, funding intelligence, stakeholder liaison, decision support, process and tool improvements, and deliver dashboards and recommendations to senior management.

Lead the strategic narrative and investment case for EIC Accelerator proposals. Build financial models, pitch decks, and TRL/market-entry roadmaps. Coach founders, manage proposal lifecycle, vet startups, mentor juniors, and collaborate with technical teams to secure EU deep-tech funding.
