Owns manufacturing automation performance by developing, integrating, optimizing, and troubleshooting PLC, robot, vision, motion, safety, and industrial communication systems. Supports equipment commissioning, launch stabilization, root-cause analysis, cycle-time improvement, system validation, documentation, version control, and sustainment team training. Ensures automated cells meet throughput, quality, uptime, safety, and reliability targets.

Supports plant maintenance by troubleshooting, repairing, and improving automated manufacturing equipment, PLC programs, I/O devices, robotics, and integrated mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Maintains controls documentation, backups, and preventive maintenance programs; improves equipment uptime, reliability, data collection, and error-proofing. Participates in root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, engineering launches, and equipment controls reviews. Requires Allen-Bradley PLC experience and 5–7 years of related manufacturing controls engineering experience.

Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize automated manufacturing equipment and controls systems during second-shift operations. Responsibilities include PLC programming and diagnostics, HMI and robotic system support, preventive maintenance, equipment backups, root-cause analysis, reliability improvement, commissioning, safety compliance, production data support, and continuous improvement. The engineer will collaborate with Maintenance, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams and provide technical training to plant personnel.
