The Senior Accountant owns full-cycle accounting for corporate and real estate project entities, including month-end and year-end close, financial statements, reconciliations, job costing, construction draws, project closings, revenue recognition, HST filings, audits, budgeting, and forecasting. The role also supports ERP implementation, applies AI-assisted tools and Power Query to improve processes, and maintains internal controls and compliance across assigned entities.

Manage month- and year-end close; prepare complex reconciliations and GAAP financial statements; maintain GL integrity and journal entries; support audits and tax compliance; assist budgeting/forecasting and variance analysis; partner with project teams on cost tracking; recommend control/process improvements and drive systems automation.

Lead underwriting, financial modeling, and execution for acquisitions and ground-up multifamily development. Manage diligence, JV and debt structuring, CTD/CTC reporting, fundraising support, lender negotiations, IC memos, and cross-functional coordination.
