Maintains and repairs feedlot water tanks, equipment, facilities, and mill areas. Responsibilities include cleaning, washing, disinfecting, operating equipment safely, supporting safety programs, and performing general preventative maintenance and repairs. The role requires physical labor outdoors in varying weather, teamwork, independent work, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Summer interns support cattle feedlot operations, including processing, feeding, cattle health, treatments, movement, verification, load out, facility maintenance, water systems, and equipment operation. The role includes mentorship, training, community involvement, and exposure to multiple operational areas. Interns must follow animal health, Beef Quality Assurance, safety, and quality protocols while working outdoors and performing physically demanding tasks. Company-sponsored housing is included.

Move, verify, and ship cattle using horseback and equipment; assist unloading, sorting, and herd care; maintain horses, equipment, and work area; follow SOPs and safety; perform light machinery operation and preventative maintenance; attend meetings and on-call rotations.
