Part-time Agri-Finance Expert providing technical assistance to Malawi’s macadamia and mango value chains. Responsibilities include assessing agricultural lending markets, reviewing concessional and international finance, evaluating business financing needs, delivering training to financial institutions and agribusinesses, improving Excel-based farm finance models, and supporting selected businesses with finance raising. The role requires extensive agricultural finance experience, stakeholder engagement, financial analysis, training, and advisory capabilities through December 2027.

Participate in a three-month professional development academy focused on private-sector and market systems development. Training and supervised assignments cover business analysis, partnership identification and design, due diligence, partnership management, monitoring, results measurement, and professional communication. Participants will research businesses and sectors, assess growth constraints, support partnership proposals, maintain confidentiality, engage respectfully with stakeholders, complete assignments, and undertake a final practical assessment.

Manages the full grant lifecycle for Burmese civil society organizations, including applications, assessments, agreements, compliance screening, reporting, disbursements, monitoring, and closeout. Maintains audit-ready files and grant trackers, supports travel, events, procurement, and asset management, and compiles monitoring and evaluation data for program reporting. The role requires Burmese and English fluency, knowledge of Myanmar, strong organization, attention to detail, and Excel skills.
