Leads and conducts research, develops research strategy, mentors researchers, and guides cross-functional teams. Oversees research planning, analysis, synthesis, stakeholder communication, and risk identification. Stewardship responsibilities include maintaining VA.gov information architecture standards, advising product teams, evaluating navigation and content structures, documenting issues, supporting governance checkpoints, and improving collaboration processes and guidance.

Develop and modernize legacy Java-based applications, primarily JSP monoliths, while diagnosing issues, reducing technical debt, improving reliability, and integrating adjacent systems. Independently gather requirements, solve complex technical problems, communicate with stakeholders, present designs, mentor junior engineers, and participate in technical interviews. React and JavaScript development may support cross-functional needs.

Leads growth and account strategy across DHS, especially USCIS, by developing federal pipelines, shaping opportunities, managing capture and proposal pursuits, and converting relationships into awarded business. Oversees account planning, acquisition strategy, teaming partnerships, forecasting, executive engagement, and multidisciplinary pursuit teams. Coaches growth professionals and partners with delivery, technology, contracts, finance, and executive leadership to expand federal accounts and win complex digital services contracts.
