Teams at Acutec Precision Aerospace, Inc.

Develop and document CNC milling and turning manufacturing processes, optimize stability and utilization, troubleshoot setups and tooling, lead Kaizen and continuous improvement efforts (Six Sigma, Lean, SPC), collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare process and product reports to drive manufacturability and waste reduction.

Perform MPI and FPI nondestructive testing on machined aerospace components: set up and calibrate equipment, execute inspections, document results, maintain training and calibration logs, follow customer/internal procedures and safety/5S practices, and support Level III for procedures and dispositions.

Hands-on internship supporting engineering and operations at an aerospace manufacturer. Interns collaborate with cross-functional teams on process and strategic improvement projects, complete trainings, assist day-to-day tasks, and present a capstone project to leadership.
