Provides strategic financial leadership for a multi-country humanitarian program across Ethiopia, Somalia, Djibouti, and South Sudan. Responsibilities include consolidated budgeting, forecasting, donor reporting, DG ECHO compliance, sub-grant oversight, audit readiness, crisis-modifier financial preparedness, risk management, multi-currency accounting, partner monitoring, and financial capacity building. The role advises senior leadership, maintains financial controls, supports grant amendments and closeout, and travels extensively across challenging operating environments.

Executive leader responsible for global technical strategy, program quality, technical innovation, evidence-based impact, and quality assurance across humanitarian and development programs. Leads global technical teams, strengthens MEAL and knowledge management systems, supports donor engagement and resource mobilization, advances research and innovation, and represents the organization with donors, stakeholders, and technical networks across multiple countries.

Manage project budgets, forecasts, transactions, financial reporting, donor compliance, invoicing, billing, vendor payments, and audit preparation. Collaborate with project teams on financial impacts, cost savings, and scope changes while ensuring adherence to accounting standards, contractual requirements, internal controls, tax obligations, and donor guidelines.
