Support voter engagement and turnout in Central Valley by planning and running text/phone banks, canvasses, and events; recruit, train, and supervise volunteers; manage logistics (venues, AV, registration), accessibility services, and travel; track and report outreach data in EveryAction; support ballot and voter education, candidate forums, and other advocacy activities. Temporary full-time role through November 2026.

Supports the ACLU’s Criminal Law & Immigration Project through legal and policy research, analysis, advocacy materials, court documents, pre-litigation demand letters, and legislative or local campaigns. May participate in hearings, court proceedings, depositions, appellate arguments, and strategy meetings. Work focuses on prosecutorial and police accountability, decarceration, bail reform, indigent defense, and immigrants’ rights.
