Manages base-level financial operations, including accounting, reporting, cash management, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, donor compliance, audits, and financial controls. The role identifies and mitigates financial risks, monitors grant spending, oversees cash forecasts and reconciliations, and supervises, trains, and develops finance staff. It also supports budget holders, ensures compliance with organizational and donor requirements, and promotes accurate, timely financial reporting.

Supports the full employee lifecycle at the Nguru base, including contracts, onboarding, payroll administration, employee records, probation tracking, separations, exit interviews, training, HR policy implementation, communications, workforce reporting, insurance updates, accommodation coordination, and office procurement. The role ensures accurate documentation, compliance, confidentiality, and responsive administrative support while identifying opportunities to improve HR practices.

Develop and implement country-level procurement strategies, plan purchasing procedures, conduct market analysis and supplier sourcing, manage tenders, negotiate and maintain supplier relationships, ensure goods and services meet quality standards, and enforce procurement policies, donor requirements, fraud controls, and audit recommendations.
