Leads gender mainstreaming, inclusion, protection, safeguarding, and gender-responsive programming across humanitarian projects. Responsibilities include gender analysis, strategy development, training, partner capacity building, proposal and donor reporting support, monitoring and evaluation, gender audits, documentation, advocacy, stakeholder coordination, and representation in humanitarian working groups. The role also promotes women’s rights, disability inclusion, PSEA, and inclusive programming across health, nutrition, WASH, food security, and protection interventions.

Supports mission financial planning, forecasting, budget management, donor reporting, compliance, risk assessment, audit follow-up, and financial controls. Prepares donor budgets and reports, monitors spending and forecasts, reviews financial plans, supports statutory compliance, and trains finance staff and budget holders. The role also supervises finance assistants and contributes to annual financial strategy and landing projections.

Manage the full grant cycle, ensuring donor compliance, accurate and timely reporting, complete grant documentation, and effective coordination across program, finance, logistics, security, and M&E teams. Support context analysis, risk management, proposal development, advocacy, external representation, stakeholder engagement, and partnerships with local organizations and government authorities in Borno State.
