The President will provide strategic, financial, and operational leadership for New Mexico Junior College. Responsibilities include advancing student success, enrollment, workforce development, institutional unity, capital projects, financial stewardship, personnel development, innovation, and community partnerships. The role requires collaboration with the Board, faculty, staff, students, employers, government, and regional organizations while implementing the College’s strategic direction and preparing it for changing workforce and technological needs.

The President will provide strategic, transparent leadership for a comprehensive community college serving diverse students and communities. Responsibilities include advancing academic excellence, enrollment, student success, workforce development, government relations, fundraising, community partnerships, employee relations, shared governance, fiscal stewardship, technology integration, and board relations. The role requires advocacy for the college, collaboration with faculty and stakeholders, support for diversity and inclusion, and management of a large, complex institution and budget.
