Teams at Acadian Ambulance

Provides intermediate and basic life support care, patient assessment, treatment, documentation, and safe ambulance transportation for sick or injured patients. Maintains ambulance equipment and inventory, communicates with receiving medical personnel, follows EMS protocols and safety policies, performs vehicle and station duties, and may precept new EMTs or students.

Provides pre-hospital basic life support, patient assessment, emergency treatment, safe ambulance transportation, patient handoff, documentation, equipment checks, and ambulance readiness. May perform extrication, scene safety, communications, station duties, supply replenishment, vehicle cleaning, and student or employee precepting. Must follow medical protocols, safety policies, and applicable regulations while working under pressure.

Provides pre-hospital basic and intermediate life support, examines and treats sick or injured patients, safely transports them to medical facilities, and transfers care information. Maintains patient documentation, ambulance equipment, inventories, and vehicle readiness. Operates ambulances safely, communicates via electronic equipment, follows EMS protocols and safety policies, completes station duties, and may precept new EMTs or students.
